Classic pasta salad

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g pasta (spiral pasta)
  • 1 small jar of pickled gherkins
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 can of corn
  • 1 ring/s of meat sausage
  • 2 cans of mushrooms
  • 1 can/n peas
  • 1 jar mayonnaise
  • salt and pepper
  • Cucumber juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Total time approx. 4 hours 20 minutes

Cook the pasta as usual, dice the onions, cucumbers, sausage, and mushrooms, and place them in a large bowl. Drain the peas and corn well and add them. Top with mayonnaise and rinse the remaining mayonnaise with pickle juice (about 5 tablespoons from the pickle jar), then mix everything together. Add the drained pasta and season with salt and pepper. Then refrigerate the salad. It tastes especially good the next day, once it’s been left to marinate.
