Pears in Redwine
The perfect pears in redwine recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 10 Pc. Pears small
- 0,5 l Burgundy
- 2 Pc. Star anise
- 1 Pc. Cinnamon stick
- 5 tbsp Cane sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- Peel and halve the pears, remove the core.
- Caramelize the sugar and deglaze with the wine.
- Add the remaining ingredients and simmer the pears in the stock over medium heat for about 15 minutes.
