Pears in Redwine

The perfect pears in redwine recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 10 Pc. Pears small
  • 0,5 l Burgundy
  • 2 Pc. Star anise
  • 1 Pc. Cinnamon stick
  • 5 tbsp Cane sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  1. Peel and halve the pears, remove the core.
  2. Caramelize the sugar and deglaze with the wine.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer the pears in the stock over medium heat for about 15 minutes.
