Plum Groats (plum Groats) Dessert on Red Wine Basis
The perfect plum groats (plum groats) dessert on red wine basis recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Fresh plums
- 45 g Sago
- 250 ml Warm water
- 60 ml Red wine
- 4 tbsp Sugar brown
- 1 pole Cinnamon
- 3 Cloves
- Spray the crockpot with a little baking oil.
- Wash the plums, stone them and cut them into eighths.
- Pour the sago into the saucepan and pour over the cup of water and red wine. Stir everything briefly once so that it mixes well.
- Distribute the plum pieces evenly over the top and sprinkle with the sugar.
- Insert the cinnamon stick and add the cloves (e.g. in a tea strainer or spice bag).
- Carefully stir everything once and cook in the crockpot for 2 hours on the high setting.
- After 2 hours of cooking, let it cool down a bit, remove the cinnamon stick and cloves, arrange in bowls and then serve warm or cold.
- In my photo above, the plum compote is served cold as a layered dessert with yogurt and muesli. Good Appetite!
