Lemon Spaghetti with Homemade Prawns

The perfect lemon spaghetti with homemade prawns recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Spaghetti
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 1 tsp Rapeseed oil
  • 400 g Shrimp
  • 250 ml Cream
  • Lemon zest
  • 1 piece Fresh ginger
  • 1 pinch Cayenne pepper
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  1. Cook the spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Meanwhile, cut the garlic and ginger into small cubes.
  2. Then in a large pan, heat the oil and briefly sauté the garlic and ginger. When everything has got a little color, add the prawns to the pan and fry them until they are nice and translucent inside, then season with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat the cream together with the lemon zest and the saffron over a low flame for about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the finished noodles to the sauce, season with salt and cayenne pepper, toss briefly and then serve the dish.
