King Prawns with Lemon Dip
The perfect king prawns with lemon dip recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 10 King prawns
- Olive oil, butter
- 1 tsp Dried dill
- 1 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp Quark
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1,5 Lemons – just the juice
- 0,5 Teaspoon (level) Chili powder
- 1 tbsp Herbs of Provence pickled in oil
- Pepper salt
- Wash the peeled king prawns and remove the intestines, massage in with olive oil, some chili powder and dill (mixed) and leave to rest for 2 hours. For the dip, mix the mayo, quark, mustard, spices, herbs and lemon juice well and season to taste (the dip must not be too runny). Fry the king prawns for a maximum of 3 minutes on each side over moderate heat (I add a little butter to the oil at the end). Arrange the plate with some green salad (vinegar oil, pepper, salt dressing)
