Limoncello
The perfect limoncello recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 3 Lemons untreated
- 700 ml Vodka
- 200 g Sugar
- 300 ml Water
- Wash the lemons with hot water, pat dry, peel off the peel thinly (without the white skin) and put it in a bottle. I took 3 small bottles with 250 ml content each. Pour vodka on top, close and store in a cool and dark place for at least 3 weeks .
- Then strain with 300 ml of water and 200 g of sugar to syrup in about 10 minutes. After cooling, mix with the alcohol and fill the limoncello in bottles. Tip: A quick and tasty aperitif poured over sparkling wine.
