Blueberry Quark Cake
The perfect blueberry quark cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For the dough:
- 250 g Flour
- 1 packet Dry yeast
- 25 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 Egg
- 50 g Butter
- 100 ml Warm milk
For covering:
- 4 Egg yolk
- 500 g Quark
- 170 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla custard powder
- 4 Protein
- 200 g Whipped cream
- 1 Glass Blueberries
For the dough:
- Sift the flour into a bowl.
- Add the dry yeast and mix.
- Mix sugar and vanilla sugar and add.
- Add salt, egg, butter and milk and knead everything.
- Cover the dough and keep it warm for about 30 minutes until it has visibly enlarged.
- Knead the dough well again on the work surface and roll it out in a greased springform pan.
For covering:
- Put egg yolk, quark, sugar and pudding powder in a bowl and stir.
- Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold in.
- Beat the whipped cream and fold in as well.
- Put the quark mixture on the dough and smooth it out.
- Drain the blueberries well and spread them over the curd mixture.
- Bake at 180 degrees for about 45 minutes.
