Cake Base with Kiwi

The perfect cake base with kiwi recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 Eggs
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 150 g Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 5 tbsp Warm water
  • 1 pack Custard powder
  • 400 ml Milk
  • 2 cups Sour cream
  • 5 Kiwi fruit
  • 1 packet White cake topping
  1. Mix the sugar, eggs and water for 10 minutes until frothy. Mix flour with baking powder, add to the egg mixture and stir well. Pour into a greased cake tin and bake at 175 degrees for about 15-20 minutes. Take the cake base out of the oven, remove it from the mold and let it cool down.
  2. Vanilla pudding according to the package instructions except for the amount of milk instead of 500 ml only take 400 ml and cook a pudding. When the pudding is ready, stir in the sour cream. Let cool down a bit for about 10 minutes.
  3. Peel and slice the kiwi fruit. Spread the pudding cream on the cake base and place the kiwifruit in a slightly fan shape.
  4. Prepare the icing according to the instructions on the packet, then distribute it from the center over the kiwi fruit until everything is covered. When the topping is firm, the cake can be cut.
