Ingredients

  • For the ground:
  • 50 g Butter
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 200 g Flour
  • 1,5 packet Baking powder
  • 5 tbsp Milk
  • 6 Kiwi fresh
  • For the cast:
  • 100 g Butter
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 50 g Flaked almonds
  • 50 g Chopped almonds

Instructions

  • For the dough, beat the butter, eggs and sugar until frothy. Mix the flour with the baking powder and stir into the butter and egg mixture in two portions. Add the milk and stir in well.
  • Line the bottom of the 26 spring form with baking paper and lightly grease the edge. Pour the dough into the mold and smooth it out. Peel the kiwi, cut into thick slices, place on the dough and press lightly. Sprinkle some sugar over the kiwi slices.
  • Now place the cake in the (fan-assisted) oven preheated to 200 degrees and bake for about 10 minutes.
  • For the topping, put the butter, milk and sugar in a saucepan and heat over low heat until the butter has melted. Now fold in the almond flakes and the chopped almond. Add the flour, mix everything and bring to the boil briefly.
  • Take the pre-baked cake out of the oven and spread the butter icing on it. Put back in the oven and bake again at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes. When the baking time is over, take it out of the oven, let it cool down for 15 minutes, remove the edge of the springform pan, place on a cake rack and let it cool down.
