Greek Yogurt Cookies …. Jaourtopitta
The perfect greek yogurt cookies …. jaourtopitta recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Greek yogurt
- 4 piece Eggs
- 125 g Butter
- 1 package Baking powder
- 500 g Soft semolina
- 1 teaspoon Ginger bread spice
- 600 g Sugar
- 1 Pc. Cinnamon stick
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 1 packet Orange powder
- 700 Milliliters Water
- Jaourtopita I’ve converted this classic recipe a little for Christmas.
- Syrup: 700 ml water, 600 g sugar, 1 cinnamon stick, 1 tablespoon lemon juice Put all the additions for the syrup in a saucepan and bring to the boil, stirring occasionally, until a velvety syrup is formed.
- Mix all ingredients with the mixer until a homogeneous mass is formed. (Liquid butter, baking powder, 4 eggs, Greek yogurt, orange powder, soft semolina and gingerbread spice)
- Preheat the oven to 175 degrees.
- Grease baking tin or baking tins. (The silicone molds are awesome). Bake for 30 or 40 minutes.
- Let cool down a little and drizzle with the syrup twice. If you like, you can also add powdered sugar.
