Salads: Savory Salad
The perfect salads: savory salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 0,5 piece Savoy cabbage head
- 2 piece Fresh shallots
- 2 piece Spring onions fresh
- 1 piece Orange
- 1 tablespoon Rapeseed oil
- Salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon Honey – optional
- Clean the savoy cabbage and cut into large pieces. I also used the stalk here. Blanch for approx. 4 minutes. Peel the shallots and cut into fine rings. Do the same with the spring onions.
- Let it drain. In the meantime, fillet the orange and collect the juice. Halve the fillets and add to the savoy cabbage. Add shallots and spring onions.
- Make a dressing out of the orange juice with salt, pepper and oil, pour over the salad, mix thoroughly and let it steep for about 2 hours.
- The “sweet ones” among us can refine the dressing with agave syrup or honey.
