Frisian Crab Soup

The perfect frisian crab soup recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 Onions
  • 1 bunch Soup greens fresh
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 3 tbsp Flour
  • 2 liter Fish stock
  • 300 ml White wine dry
  • 500 g North Sea Crabs
  • 2 cl Grain
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • Sweet paprika
  1. First heat the butter in a saucepan and sauté the diced onions in it. Then dice the soup greens and add them as well. Dust everything with the flour and deglaze with white wine. Now add the fish stock and let everything simmer for about 15 minutes.
  2. Then add the shrimp and cream and let it heat up briefly. Also stir in the grain and season the soup well with pepper, salt and paprika.
