Tartar Sauce …
The perfect tartar sauce … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
To:
- 3 tablespoon Cucumber stock
- 2 Gherkins pickles
- 1 Hard boiled egg
- 0,5 Onion
- 2 tablespoon Capers
- 4 Anjovis fillets
- 1 kl. bunch Chives fresh
- 1 Glass Pork knuckle meat in aspic
- Beat the mayonnaise in a suitable container with the cucumber stock until smooth. Chop the cucumber, egg, onion, capers, anjovis fillets and chives very finely and fold into the mayonnaise, season with salt and pepper and cover and let sit in the fridge for a few hours.
- Prepare the fried potatoes in the usual way – this probably doesn’t require any more detailed instructions (if necessary, these are already in the cookbook).
- Before serving, cut the pork knuckle in aspic from the glass into thick slices and arrange on the plates with the tartar sauce and the fried potatoes.
- The tartar sauce also goes wonderfully with cold roast meat, eggs, fish, salad and, and, and … it is simply a classic. Enjoy it!
