Marble Cake with Vanilla Pudding Powder, with Thermomix

The perfect marble cake with vanilla pudding powder, with thermomix recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

for the batter:

  • 200 g Soft butter or margarine
  • 225 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 4 piece Eggs
  • 300 g Flour, preferably type 630 spelled
  • 1 packet Custard powder
  • 150 g Milk

additionally:

  • 15 g Cocoa powder
  • 1 piece Egg
  1. Put the ingredients for the batter into the mixing bowl and stir for 1 minute on speed 6 to form a smooth batter. Pour approx. 2/3 of the dough into a prepared loaf pan (greased, floured).
  2. Add cocoa powder and egg to the remaining batter in the mixing bowl and stir in for 10 seconds on speed 5. Pour the chocolate dough onto the light dough in the mold and use a fork to pull it in a spiral through the dough to get the marble pattern.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees top / bottom heat on the middle rack for about 45 – max. 55 minutes (but more likely between 45 and 50 minutes).
  4. Take it out and let it cool a little in the tin. Then fall out of the mold and cover with a chocolate icing.
