Lemon Cookies …
The perfect lemon cookies … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 100 g Butter
- 75 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 Egg yolk
- Zest of an untreated lemon
- Alternatively 1 teaspoon lemon peel flavor
- 1 Lemon fresh
- 250 g Flour
- 5 tablespoon Powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoon Crema di limoncello
- Food color yellow
- Mix the butter with sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, egg yolk and lemon zest (flavor) until creamy. Squeeze the lemon. Stir in the juice. Add flour and knead into a smooth dough. Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough on a little flour. Cut out biscuits and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for about 10 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
- Mix the icing sugar with the limoncello until smooth. If you like, stir in some food coloring. Glaze the biscuits with it and let them dry.
