Chili Con Carne without Minced Meat

- 2 Onions
- 400 g Soup vegetables
- 2 Red chillies
- 1 Can Peeled tomatoes
- 3 tbsp Tomato paste
- 500 g Beef soup meat
- 1 Can Cannelini beans
- 1 tbsp Cinnamon
- 1 tbsp Smoked peppers
- 1 tbsp Garam masala
- 2 Bay leaves
- 1 tbsp Savory
- 1 tsp Sugar brown
- Salt
- Black pepper from the mill
- 400 ml Beef broth
- 1 tbsp Butter
- Olive oil
- Sweat the vegetables with a little oil and roast them together with tomato paste, cinnamon, garam masala and smoked paprika – massage the meat with salt, pepper, sugar and savory, add to the pan and fry until hot.
- Deglaze with canned tomatoes, add bay leaves and finely chopped chillies, bring to the boil and pour over the broth. Cover the chilli and simmer in the oven at 170 ° C for 1 hour.
- Remove the meat and tear it apart – add it to the chilli again.
- Roast the beans in a separate pan with butter, salt and sugar until golden brown and fold into the chilli. Season to taste with salt, pepper and sugar.
