Cheese Schnitzel

The perfect cheese schnitzel recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 Pork schnitzel
  • 50 g Gouda cheese
  • 1 Egg
  • Flour
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 100 ml Cream
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  1. Pound the schnitzel wide.
  2. Divide the Gouda into pieces and wrap in the schnitzel. Fasten with toothpicks if necessary.
  3. Roll the filled schnitzel in flour and twist in the beaten egg and bread in breadcrumbs (seasoned with salt and pepper).
  4. Then fry the schnitzel in a pan.
  5. Remove the schnitzel from the pan. Pour in the cream and some water, simmer and season. Then, if necessary, thicken with a little flour.
