Ebly in Spicy Tomato Sauce …

The perfect ebly in spicy tomato sauce … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • Some onion
  • Fat for frying
  • 50 Milliliters Tomato ketchup
  • 30 Milliliters Water
  • 0,5 Teaspoon (level) Sugar
  • 0,5 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 0,25 teaspoon … oder mehr Harissapaste
  • 1 bag Ebly
  • Salt
  • 1 Bratwurst
  • 4 Wooden shish kebab skewers
  • Fat for frying
  • 4 Basil leaves
  • Basil
  1. Cut the onion into small cubes. Simmer in hot fat until translucent. Add tomato ketchup, water and sugar. Bring to the boil briefly while stirring. Let simmer for two minutes on a low heat. Take off the stove. Stir in oregano and harissa paste.
  2. Cook Ebly according to package instructions. Mix half of it with the tomato sauce. Use the other half otherwise … 😉
  3. Wash and dry the sausage. Stick two kebab skewers from both sides in the middle of the bratwurst (next time I would use three each).
  4. “Cut” the sausage in about 1.5 to 2 cm wide intervals. The kebab skewers prevent the whole – cutting through 😉 Carefully pull out the kebab skewers and fry the sausage in hot fat.
  5. Serve the Ebly with the sausage. Wash the basil leaves, shake dry and cut into fine strips. Sprinkle over it. Garnish with basil.
