Spanish Beef Skewers – Pinchitos

The perfect spanish beef skewers – pinchitos recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 450 g Beef schnitzel (hip) thinly sliced
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 0,5 Organic lemon
  • 50 ml Olive oil
  • 0,5 tsp Thyme
  • 0,5 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Coriander leaves
  • 0,25 tsp Sweet paprika
  • 1 small Red chilli pepper
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil for frying
  1. Cut the beef into long strips of 2 cm x 10 cm.
  1. Wash the lemon, pat dry and rub the peel. Then squeeze the lemon. Core and finely chop the chilli pepper. Peel the garlic, press into a bowl through a press and mix with the chilli, lemon juice, zest, olive oil, cumin, coriander, paprika and thyme.
  1. Mix the meat strips with the seasoning oil and cover and place in the refrigerator for 2 hours to marinate. Place strips of meat on the skewers in the shape of an accordion so that they are pierced two or three times. Then heat the oil in a pan and fry the skewers for about 3-4 minutes.
  1. Alternatively, grill the skewers in the oven at 200 ° C for about 6 minutes.
