Sour Beans Among Each Other
The perfect sour beans among each other recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 package Cutting beans – sour beans
- 1 Onion
- 600 g Raw smoked Kasseler
- 600 g Potato
- Black pepper from the mill
- Savory spice
- Onion lard
- Cut the onion into cubes and sauté in hot fat until translucent. Remove and set aside.
- Peel and boil the potatoes, then roughly mash them and set aside.
- In the saucepan in which the onions were stewed, put the sour beans and put them on top with a little water and let them boil. Season with a little pepper.
- Cut the smoked pork loin into slices and then cut them into pleasant pieces and add them to the beans. Let the whole thing simmer for about 15 minutes. Now add the savory. Let it boil briefly.
- Now stir in the potatoes and also the onions. Depending on your taste, the whole thing can now be rounded off with half a tablespoon of lard. The dish should have a nice, creamy consistency. Season to taste and serve. But best of all check the next day.
