Black Rice Meat
The perfect black rice meat recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Black venere rice
- 500 g Minced meat mixed organic
- 200 g Fresh leek
- 3 Red onions
- 1,5 Red peppers
- 2 tablespoon Tomato paste
- 400 g Cherry tomatoes panicles
- 0,5 Fresh mango
- 2 Garlic cloves chopped
- 1 Jalapeño
- 1 tablespoon Herbs of Provence
- 1 Coffee pot Water
- 3 tablespoon Sesame
- Salt and pepper
- Spring onions fresh
- Roast the sesame seeds in a pan without fat until they start to smell. Put aside.
- Cut the onions and vegetables into small pieces. Peel and dice the mango. Puree the tomatoes.
- Fry the minced meat in a saucepan until crumbly. Add the onions, tomato paste and rice. Fry for another 5 minutes. Reduce the heat and add a pot of coffee to water. After 5 minutes add the tomatoes. Simmer for 20 minutes with the pot closed. Stirring occasionally.
- Add the leek, garlic, chopped jalapeno and Provence herbs and simmer for another 10 minutes.
- Add the peppers and mango. Simmer for another 25 minutes with the pot closed. Don’t forget to stir.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Serve with the sesame seeds and some spring onions, cut into rings.
