Indian Caij (black Spiced Tea)

The perfect indian caij (black spiced tea) recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 tsp Sugar,
  • 2 Pinches Cinnamon
  • 3 whole Cloves
  • 3 Pinches Ground ginger
  • 1 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 1 bag Black tea Assam
  • 0,25 Cup Condensed milk
  1. Put the sugar and the spices in a cup, pour three quarters of hot water on top and let a tea bag infuse for 7 minutes.
  2. Then pour the cup with condensed milk and let it steep for another 3 minutes, possibly warm up the milk briefly in the microwave beforehand.
  3. Remove the tea bag and the cloves and enjoy! If you like and have it, you can add a pinch of nutmeg.
