Hazelnut Cinnamon Balls

The perfect hazelnut cinnamon balls recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Powdered sugar
  • 3 piece Protein
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 300 g Ground hazelnuts
  1. Beat 3 egg whites until stiff and gradually stir in powdered sugar and vanilla sugar. Divide 4 tablespoons from the mixture and place in a piping bag or freezer bag. Add the remaining ingredients to the remaining mixture and stir. Knead the dough and make small balls the size of hazelnuts or walnuts out of it. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and use the handle of a wooden spoon to make small hollows in the balls. Fill the small hollows with the contents of the piping bag and then bake the balls at 100 degrees circulating air or 125 degrees with top / bottom heat for around 35 to 40 minutes. The baking time can also be shorter with top / bottom heat. Simply delicious after cooling down!
