Ingredients

  • 125 g Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 3 tbsp Rum
  • 125 g Quark
  • 125 ml Milk
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 300 g Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • Oil, cinnamon, sugar and a little salt

Instructions

  • I got 60 pieces.
  • Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Add the quark, milk and rum and stir in. Mix flour, salt with baking powder and add to the other mass. Mix with the mixer until a viscous dough is formed.
  • Heat the oil in a saucepan. Now cut off small balls from the dough with a teaspoon and pour them into the hot oil. Not too many at a time, because the bales get even bigger.
  • If you cannot do it yourself, please turn the bales.
  • Mix the sugar with the cinnamon and a little salt. Drain the finished bales on a paper towel and then turn them in the sugar-cinnamon mixture.
