- 250 g Fresh strawberries
- 250 g Fresh rhubarb
- 200 g Whipped cream
- 50 g Sugar
- 50 ml Water
- 1 shot Rum
- Some balsamic vinegar
- Some sugar
- Wash and clean the strawberries and rhubarb and cut into ready-to-eat pieces. Then marinate the strawberries with a little sugar and balsamic vinegar. Put the remaining sugar in a saucepan with the water and bring to the boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. As soon as it is boiled, let the whole thing reduce. Deglaze with a dash of rum. Now carefully fold the strawberries into the caramel mixture and then do the same with the rhubarb. Then pour the mixture into dessert bowls and refrigerate. Finally, whip the whipped cream with a little sugar and whip until stiff. Distribute the whipped cream evenly on the dessert bowls using a piping bag.
