Plums Compote
The perfect plums compote recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 kg Plums
- 3 tbsp Honey
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- 200 ml Red wine
- Wash the plums, cut in half and core.
- Put the plum halves together with the other ingredients in a saucepan, heat and simmer for about 10 minutes. Remove the cinnamon stick.
Possibility Number 1:
- Fill into storage jars that have been rinsed with hot water, close tightly and let cool upside down.
Option 2:
- Let the plum compote (a little) cool and serve with vanilla pudding, semolina pudding, waffles, with vanilla sauce or – or – or …
