The perfect ~ american bacon onion rings out of oven ~ recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 piece Large butcher’s onion
  • 10 Discs American bacon
  • Ketchup
  • Mayo
  1. Peel the onion and cut about 2cm thick slices. Separate the onion inside out. The rings must not be damaged.
  2. Now wrap the bacon slices around the onion rings. about 2 pieces for an onion ring.
  3. Preheat the oven to top and bottom heat at 225 degrees and fry the rings for about 50 minutes until crispy. Turn once.

Tip:

  1. Rub the rings with BBQ sauce, sweet and sour sauce after about 30 minutes! Also fits perfectly on the grill – here the grilling time is reduced depending on how crispy you like the bacon. Good Appetite!
