Eggs in Glass

The perfect eggs in glass recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Onion
  • 1 tablespoon Ham cubes
  • 2 dried Tomatoes pickled in oil
  • 2 dried Hard cheese
  • 2 teaspoon Creme fraiche Cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Chives
  • Butter
  1. Peel the onion, cut into small cubes and fry briefly with the ham cubes
  2. Grease two jam jars with the butter and spread the ham and onion mixture in them.
  3. Dice the sun-dried tomatoes and distribute them with the cheese in the glasses.
  4. Pour 1 teaspoon of creme fraiche over each, season with salt and pepper (CAUTION NOT TOO MUCH) and stir everything well.
  5. Now break one egg into a glass at a time, trying not to break the yolk.
  6. Place the glasses in a casserole dish filled with water and put them in the 200c. warm oven for 7-10 minutes. The egg white must be whipped and the yolk must be soft as wax.
  7. Now take out the glasses, place on a plate and sprinkle with a little chives.
  8. to enjoy a grain roll – bon appetit
