Eggs in Glass
The perfect eggs in glass recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 Eggs
- 2 Onion
- 1 tablespoon Ham cubes
- 2 dried Tomatoes pickled in oil
- 2 dried Hard cheese
- 2 teaspoon Creme fraiche Cheese
- Salt
- Pepper
- Chives
- Butter
- Peel the onion, cut into small cubes and fry briefly with the ham cubes
- Grease two jam jars with the butter and spread the ham and onion mixture in them.
- Dice the sun-dried tomatoes and distribute them with the cheese in the glasses.
- Pour 1 teaspoon of creme fraiche over each, season with salt and pepper (CAUTION NOT TOO MUCH) and stir everything well.
- Now break one egg into a glass at a time, trying not to break the yolk.
- Place the glasses in a casserole dish filled with water and put them in the 200c. warm oven for 7-10 minutes. The egg white must be whipped and the yolk must be soft as wax.
- Now take out the glasses, place on a plate and sprinkle with a little chives.
