Steaks with 3 Different Seasonings

The perfect steaks with 3 different seasonings recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

“Obersteiner Style” seasoning

  • 2 Fresh onions
  • Salt and pepper

Mustard marinade

  • 300 ml Mustard medium hot
  • 1 tbsp Apricot jam
  • 1 tsp Mustard powder
  • Salt and pepper, 100 ml of oil

Dry seasoning “Rub”

  • 3 tbsp Sweet paprika
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp Pimenton de la vera
  • 1 tsp Coated cayenne powder
  1. First cut the meat into 250 gram slices.
  2. For the “Obersteiner Würzung” seasoning, salt and pepper the meat. Layer in a bowl, between each layer of meat is a layer of onions that have been cut into thin slices beforehand. Close the bowl and let the meat “rest” overnight in the refrigerator.
  3. For the mustard marinade, mix the mustard with the apricot jam and the oil and season with salt and pepper. Put the meat in the marinade and knead well. Again, the meat should spend the night in the refrigerator.
  4. For the dry seasoning, simply mix all the ingredients together and sprinkle over the meat. It is advisable to “massage” the powder into the meat. Put the meat in the fridge overnight. The dry wort can be expanded with other ingredients at any time, each according to his taste.
