Buns or Hamburger Buns
The perfect buns or hamburger buns recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Spelled flour
- 230 ml Milk lukewarm
- 40 g Lätta or butter
- 30 g Sugar
- 10 g Salt
- 1 Egg
- 1 Pck. Dry yeast
- Sesame
- Knead all ingredients into a dough and let rise for about 1 hour! The dough itself is a bit tough and sticky! See image! But it has to be like that!
- Flour the work surface and divide the dough into 9-10 parts with flour and shape into balls. Turn the dough balls on the underside or turn them inside, (to explain stupidly) 😀 this creates a nice, smooth, round surface at the top! Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and flatten!
Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees celcius!
- Let the dough rest for about 20-40 minutes! With 20 minutes you get really nice, flat buns, with 40 minutes you get really high buns! 🙂 After 20 minutes the dough did not rise quite so nicely! But that should be the case too! Brush with water and sprinkle with sesame seeds!
- Bake buns for about 15-20 minutes! Let cool down!
- Cut open before topping and roast a little in the oven or grill!
