Spicy Chopping Cake

The perfect spicy chopping cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 role Pizza dough
  • 400 g Ground beef
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 425 ml Chopped tomatoes
  • 75 g Parmesan
  • 125 g Mozzarella
  • 75 g Pickled hot peppers
  • Salt
  • Pepper from the grinder
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  1. For the topping, peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Fry the mince in a non-stick frying pan for 5–8 minutes until finely crumbly. Fry the onion and garlic for 2-3 minutes. Stir in tomato paste and sweat with it. Pour in the tomatoes. Season with salt, pepper and sugar. Simmer for about 15 minutes. Season the tomato mince mixture again to taste. Allow to cool slightly.
  2. Finely grate the Parmesan. Finely dice the mozzarella. Mix the cheese. Cut the peppers into wide slices. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
  3. Grease a springform pan (approx. 26 cm Ø) and dust with flour. Place the pizza dough in the pan and press down on the edge. Cut off the excess dough and cut into long pieces. Press on the edges of the mold that are still free. Sprinkle the bottom with 1⁄3 of the cheese mix. Spread the mince on top, top with the pepperoni. Sprinkle with the rest of the cheese mix and bake in the hot oven for 30–35 minutes.
  4. Tip 4: In addition to the peppers, spread a few halved cherry tomatoes on the chopping cake.
