Vegetables: Asparagus with Melted Butter

The perfect vegetables: asparagus with melted butter recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 bunch Asparagus, about 5 spears per person,
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • Salt pepper
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • Aluminum foil
  • Butter to melt
  • Chopped parsley until smooth
  1. Preheat the oven to 160 ° C fan oven. Clean and peel the asparagus. Place on a piece of aluminum foil (shiny side up). Season with salt, pepper and a pinch of sugar. Put bits of butter on top and pack into a packet. First gather the long sides together and roll them up tightly, then roll up both sides tightly.
  2. Cook the packets side by side in the preheated oven for approx. 40 – 45 minutes. A little tip: If asparagus is to be prepared for several servings, it will cook better if it is put into the oven in several packets. A maximum of 6 sticks per package
  3. Melt the butter, add freshly chopped parsley. Arrange the asparagus on preheated plates and drizzle with the melted butter
  4. Also a treat with hollandaise sauce
