Eggs in Caper Mustard Sauce

The perfect eggs in caper mustard sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 a cup Cream
  • 2 El Butter
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 2 tbsp Mustard
  • 1 glass Capers
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 300 ml Chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp 8 Kräuter TK
  1. Hard boil eggs.
  2. Peel and dice the onions and sauté in the butter until translucent, dust with the flour, pour in the stock and cream and bring to the boil while stirring.
  3. Stir in the capers and herbs, season with salt, pepper and mustard, peel the eggs and let them get hot again in the sauce.
  4. Halve the eggs and serve with the sauce and boiled potatoes.
