Chocolate Cake in Egg

The perfect chocolate cake in egg recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 35 g Butter
  • 75 g Couverture
  • 12 Eggshells
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 90 g Sugar
  • 75 g Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  1. Melt the couverture and butter together in a double boiler.
  2. Carefully open the eggs at the top, pour out the inside of the egg.
  3. For 3 eggs, separate the yolk from the egg white.
  4. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff.
  5. Add the sugar to the egg yolk and stir until frothy.
  6. Stir in the melted couverture with the butter as well.
  7. Carefully fold in the egg foam, mix the flour and baking powder and mix into the batter.
  8. Boil the eggshells and place them on the prepared aluminum foil egg cups.
  9. Fill the eggs three-quarters with the batter and bake in the preheated oven at 175 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
