Spelled Spaghettini with Vanilla Chili Sauce

  • 300 g Spelled spaghettini
  • 1 Red chilli pepper
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 1 Small onion
  • 1 Shot glass Freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 Pck Oat cream
  • 100 ml Vegetable broth
  • 2 Carrots
  • 1 Vanilla pod
  • 2 Vegan chorizos from Wheaty
  • Some oil
  • Salt pepper
  1. Since the spelled spaghettini doesn’t take long, prepare everything first, otherwise it might go too fast afterwards. Chop the onion, garlic clove and chilli very finely. Peel the carrots, cut in half lengthways at least 1x, possibly 2x and peel strips off with the peeler. Put on the pasta water with a little salt. First, sauté the onion, the chilli and the garlic clove in a little oil. Add the carrot strips and cook with them. Deglaze with vegetable stock and oat cream, add the orange juice. Cut the vanilla pod lengthways, scrape out the pulp and place in the pan with the pod. Let it simmer gently. While the pasta is cooking, cut the chorizo ​​into slices and fry in a little oil until crispy. Remove the vanilla pod from the sauce, season with salt and pepper if necessary. Drain the pasta and add it directly to the sauce. Mix and serve on plates. The chorizo ​​slices on top as a topping.
