Baked Tomatoes with Basil and Goat Cheese

The perfect baked tomatoes with basil and goat cheese recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 size Vine tomatoes
  • 60 g Mild goat cheese
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Herb butter
  • Basil leaves
  • Harissa
  1. Cut the tomatoes into 3 thick slices, remove the stalk.
  2. Rub herb butter in a large pan.
  3. Sprinkle sugar on one side of the tomatoes.
  4. Place the tomatoes in the pan with the sugar side down.
  5. Put the basil leaves on top, then the goat cheese slices.
  6. Put the lid on the pan and put it on medium heat.
  7. The tomatoes crunch from below and the cheese melts.
  8. Sprinkle with harissa spice.
