Quail Eggs As Sole Eggs

  • 32 Quail eggs

For the marinade:

  • 500 ml Water
  • 2 tbsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Rice vinegar
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Small onion approx. 100 g
  • 15 Grains of colored pepper
  • 10 Allspice grains
  • 1 Screw jar
  1. Cut the garlic cloves into slices without peeling them. Roughly dice the onion, also unpeeled. Boil water (500 ml) with salt (2 tbsp), rice vinegar (2 tbsp), garlic clove slices, onion cubes, colored pepper (15 grains) and allspice (10 grains), simmer / simmer for 5 minutes and remove from the flame. Boil the quail eggs bubbly for 5 minutes, quench, beat the shell with a knife or spoon, put it in a jar and pour the hot marinade over it. The glass should be almost full.
