Tomato Soup Madras

The perfect tomato soup madras recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 800 g Tomatoes happened
  • 1200 ml Water
  • 100 g Tomato paste
  • 10 g Ginger, diced
  • 10 g Cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 5 g Lemongrass, chopped into small pieces
  • 5 g Curry powder, hot
  • 20 g Salt
  • 10 Splash Tabasco
  • 5 ml Olive oil
  • 5 g Sugar
  1. Briefly fry the garlic, ginger and lemongrass with a little olive oil
  2. Deglaze with tomatoes and water
  3. Let simmer for 10-15 minutes
  4. Season to taste with salt, sugar, curry and Tabasco
  5. Optional: 10-20 ml soy sauce, coconut milk or soy cream or heavy cream
