Orange Tomato Soup

The perfect orange tomato soup recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 800 g Canned tomatoes
  • 200 g Roughly chopped onion
  • 10 g Garlic, roughly chopped
  • 1200 ml Water
  • 10 ml Olive oil
  • 70 g Tomato paste
  • 20 g Salt
  • 0,5 g Chili powder
  • 1 g Grated lemon peel
  • 10 g Sugar
  • 10 g Dissolve the cornstarch in 10 ml cold water
  • 30 g Glass noodles
  • 3 Tropics Orange oil
  1. Fry the onions and garlic in olive oil briefly (2 minutes)
  2. Deglaze with tomatoes, tomato paste and water and strain thoroughly
  3. Glass noodles and spices with it
  4. Add the starch dissolved in cold water to thicken
  5. Simmer for 10-15 minutes
  6. Before serving, drizzle 3 drops of orange oil into the soup and stir
  7. Super cheap, delicious soup – the ingredients together cost little more than one euro! A serving of 17 cents!
  8. As an alternative to orange oil (available as a baking ingredient or as organic essential oil), you can also get orange zest and season with self-squeezed orange juice. If orange juice is used, add a little more sugar
