Orange Tomato Soup
The perfect orange tomato soup recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 800 g Canned tomatoes
- 200 g Roughly chopped onion
- 10 g Garlic, roughly chopped
- 1200 ml Water
- 10 ml Olive oil
- 70 g Tomato paste
- 20 g Salt
- 0,5 g Chili powder
- 1 g Grated lemon peel
- 10 g Sugar
- 10 g Dissolve the cornstarch in 10 ml cold water
- 30 g Glass noodles
- 3 Tropics Orange oil
- Fry the onions and garlic in olive oil briefly (2 minutes)
- Deglaze with tomatoes, tomato paste and water and strain thoroughly
- Glass noodles and spices with it
- Add the starch dissolved in cold water to thicken
- Simmer for 10-15 minutes
- Before serving, drizzle 3 drops of orange oil into the soup and stir
- Super cheap, delicious soup – the ingredients together cost little more than one euro! A serving of 17 cents!
- As an alternative to orange oil (available as a baking ingredient or as organic essential oil), you can also get orange zest and season with self-squeezed orange juice. If orange juice is used, add a little more sugar
