Tuscan Tomato Soup

The perfect tuscan tomato soup recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Fresh tomatoes
  • 4 Pc. Tomatoes pickled in oil
  • 1 Pc. Fresh onion
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 0,5 bunch Basil
  • 375 ml Vegetable broth
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 125 g Tuscan white bread
  • Salt and pepper
  1. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes, remove the skins and stalks, cut the tomatoes into pieces, peel the onion and garlic and chop finely. Cut the pickled tomatoes into large pieces. Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan and sauté the onions until translucent, add the garlic and tomatoes (fresh and pickled) and braise them. Pour in the broth, season with salt and pepper Cut thin slices and add to the soup, everything about 15Mi. Simmer . Wash and roughly chop the basil, sprinkle with the basil before serving and serve.
