Mashed Potatoes with Ginger
The perfect mashed potatoes with ginger recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 3 Floury potatoes
- 1 cm Fresh ginger
- 1 Clove of garlic
- 300 ml Poultry broth
- Salt
- Peel the potatoes and cut into small pieces.
- Roughly cut down the freshest possible clove of garlic.
- Cut 3 thin slices of the ginger.
- Cook in the saucepan and in the broth for a good 20-25 minutes.
- Fish out the ginger and garlic, drain the potatoes and collect the broth.
- Use the potato masher to mash the potatoes and add the stock to the desired consistency.
- Grate fresh ginger and fold in with the finely mashed clove of garlic.
- Season to taste with salt.
