Mashed Potatoes with Ginger

The perfect mashed potatoes with ginger recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 Floury potatoes
  • 1 cm Fresh ginger
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 300 ml Poultry broth
  • Salt
  1. Peel the potatoes and cut into small pieces.
  2. Roughly cut down the freshest possible clove of garlic.
  3. Cut 3 thin slices of the ginger.
  4. Cook in the saucepan and in the broth for a good 20-25 minutes.
  5. Fish out the ginger and garlic, drain the potatoes and collect the broth.
  6. Use the potato masher to mash the potatoes and add the stock to the desired consistency.
  7. Grate fresh ginger and fold in with the finely mashed clove of garlic.
  8. Season to taste with salt.
