Cod with Cream / Mustard Sauce

The perfect cod with cream / mustard sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 piece Cod fillet
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Black pepper from the mill
  • 1 tsp Butter
  • 0,25 piece Chopped onion
  • 100 ml Meatsoup
  • 100 ml Cream
  • 2 tbsp Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Mustard hot
  • 1 tbsp Flour
  • 2 tbsp Rapeseed oil

  1. Heat the butter in a saucepan and sauté the onion until translucent. Pour in the broth and reduce by half. Stir in the mustard and season with salt and pepper. Pour on the cream and reduce again by half. Season the finished sauce with sugar and lemon juice.

  1. Wash the fish and pat dry. Salt, pepper and flour on both sides. Heat the pan and fry the fish on medium heat for 4 minutes on each side.
  1. Carefully lift the fish out of the pan, arrange and serve with the sauce. I had triplets for that.
