Walnut Beer Bread

The perfect walnut beer bread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 ml Warm water
  • 150 ml Light beer
  • 85 g Chopped walnuts
  • 400 g Spelled flour
  • 100 g Whole wheat flour
  • 2 tsp Brown sugar
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 Pck. Dry yeast
  • Some flour to knead
  1. Dissolve salt and sugar in warm water! Add beer and knead with flour. Finally add the yeast and nuts. Knead everything well, cover and let rise in a warm place for 45 minutes!

I take the bread maker to knead!

  1. Knead again, shape into a ball and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Let rise again covered for 30 minutes!

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees!

  1. Bake the bread for about 40-45 minutes! The bread is done when you knock on the bottom of the bread and it sounds hollow! 🙂
