Apple Pancake

The perfect apple pancake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • Dough:
  • 200 gr Flour
  • 100 gr Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 0,5 packet Baking powder
  • 2 Eggs
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 1 pinch Salt and
  • Some oil for the pan
  • Filling
  • 1 Apple
  • 2 tbsp Nutella
  • 1 tbsp Powdered sugar
  1. Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt to a white stiff mass. Put aside. Do not throw away egg yolks!
  1. In another bowl, mix the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder, 2 egg yolks and milk to a liquid, not too firm dough. The dough should flow from the spoon but please remember that it must not be like water. Nice and thick.
  1. Now fold the beaten egg white into the dough. Heat a mini pan and bake 8-10 pancakes from the batter. If necessary, use a brush to brush the pan with a little oil. When you have processed the dough, put the pancakes aside.
  1. Core the apples and cut into fine wedges. Fry them briefly with the icing sugar in a pan until they have turned a little brown and quench with 1 tablespoon of water. Melt the Nutella briefly in the microwave until it is liquid.
  1. Now you take the pancakes again and place the first pancake as a base on a plate. Brush with a teaspoon of Nutella and place 2-3 wafer-thin apple wedges on top. Put the next pancake on top and continue until all pancakes are used up.
  1. Finish with a pancake on top. Put the legal Nutella on it and let it run down nicely and distribute it. Decorate with the remaining apple wedges. With the ceramic pans this is super fast and without any oil! Damn yummy! You can now cut the pancake tower like a cake and serve on a plate and enjoy
