Christmas Cookies: Baking with Children …
The perfect christmas cookies: baking with children … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 200 g Cold butter
- 250 g Wheat flour
- 3 piece Egg yolk
- 125 g Powdered sugar
- 6 drops Butter-Vanilla baking flavor
- 2 tbsp Milk
- 1 pack Colorful sprinkles
- 1 tbsp Roasted almond flakes
- 1 big Egg yolks for brushing
For the kneading dough:
- Cut the butter into small cubes. Put wheat flour in a mixing bowl. Add egg yolks, powdered sugar, baking flavor, milk and knead everything with the dough hook of the mixer to a smooth dough. Put the dough in the fridge for about 60 minutes.
- Roll out the dough thinly on a floured work surface and cut out cookies with Christmas motifs. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the cut out cookies on it. Brush with egg yolk and decorate nicely.
- Bake in a hot oven (middle shelf) at 180 degrees for about 8 to 10 minutes.
