Mushrooms in Elderberry Sauce

The perfect mushrooms in elderberry sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Elderberry sauce

  • 250 g Porcini mushrooms fresh
  • 250 g Chanterelles
  • 1 Sütck Clove of garlic
  • 2 tbsp Finely chopped parsley
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 El Cold-Pressed sunflower oil
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Water
  • Salt and pepper as needed
  • 200 gr Elderberry fresh
  1. Heat sunflower oil in a coated pan. Sauté the mushrooms in quarters or halves for approx. 3 minutes. Add the parsley, clove of garlic and season with salt and pepper and set the pan aside
  2. Sauté the elderberries with the sugar, add the water and reduce by half
  3. When the water has been reduced to half, add mushrooms.
  4. Heat the sunflower oil in a pan and let the berries warm up with the sugar.
  5. Then serve and pour the elderberry sauce over it.
