Wheat Beer Bread
The perfect wheat beer bread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 400 g Spelled flour
- 400 g Rye flour type 1150
- 1 packet Dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon Honey
- 1 tablespoon Salt
- 300 ml Dark wheat beer
- 200 ml Lukewarm water
- Mix the flour, salt, honey and yeast.
- Add the beer, add the water and process for 5 minutes.
- Shape the dough into a ball and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
- Then knead the dough again briefly, possibly. add a little flour, form a loaf and place on a baking sheet with baking paper.
- Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes. Then place in the preheated oven on the lowest rack.
- Preheat the oven: Bake fan-assisted 200 after 10 minutes down to 160 for 40 minutes. Top and bottom heat: 220 after 10 minutes down to 180 degrees. Bake for 40 minutes.
